Sustainable aid as tradition

Geberit has been committed and supported social-aid projects for 15 years now. In doing so, we particularly emphasize a differentiated way of thinking. This is how financial support, donations of materials and knowledge transfer together will ensure a sustainable effect and, in the long term, bring aid and real improvement in prevailing conditions.

Examples of Geberit's involvement include:

• Geberit apprentices have already supported social institutions in Russia, the Philippines and Tanzania.
• In Indonesia, Geberit worked together with the Swiss Red Cross in support of the reconstruction of a school in Banda Aceh that had been destroyed by a tsunami.
• In Cambodia, the company assumed responsibility for the financing, supplying of materials, training and planning of the entire sanitary facilities in connection with the construction of a residential facility for 400 female clothing-factory employees. More about this project
